Our three companies were brought onto this project to help create an outdoor living space in a small lot in Rutherford, NJ. The client was a single man, looking to create a “man-cave” like feel to his backyard, making it into an extension of his indoor living space. He wanted a pool, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, patio, water features and yard space – in very tight quarters!
The planning process had to be very concise on this job, in order to fit everything in without overcrowding. We wanted to make the small space appear much larger than it was. We were able to incorporate the fire pit to be built into the design of the swimming pool, which also has a spillway to add a water feature, all in one.
